Originally from Kent, Ohio, Rachel moved to Savannah to attend the Savannah College of Art and Design. After graduating with a BFA in Photography in 2007, Rachel decided to continue her education at SCAD, graduating in 2009 with an MFA in Photography.

She now lives in Los Angeles and teaches photography at the Art Institute of California- Hollywood.
